MY CURRENT FAVOURITE COLOUR

I'm not a massive lover of colour, my favourite choice for colour ways are monochrome so black, white and grey kinda over rules colourful items in my wardrobe. As I've mentioned lots of times on Sister Of The Moon that I aim to style items that are experimental to me, I like to create new looks and push my own boundaries when it comes to style.

And that is exactly what I'm doing on todays post. I am proud to say that I have found my new favourite colour! Mustard yellow is such a wonderful colour and I like how it looks when styled with black and white items, that extra pop it gives to an outfit is exactly what I'm embracing right now. It also has played a part in some way in a lot of my recent blog posts, whether it is accessories or tops I have been really enjoying adding the colourful touch to my outfits.

With my new found love for mustard yellow came the urge to look for mustard yellow items in every clothes shop I entered, I haven't seen anything that jumps out at me in my usual shops which is slightly disappointing but I found this absolutely beautiful dress in Asda of all places! One of my old posts A Supermarket Steal is also showcasing a beautiful item that I also bought from Asda. Who would of thought that Asda is quite high on the list of places I like to look for clothes?

What I love most about this dress (apart from the colour) is the style! It's quite loose fitting and has really cute details such as the small floral print, the slight frills along the neckline and other parts and the cute ties on the sleeves, which give it a little more of a feminine look. It has a sort of tiered look, which I think is very flattering! To finish off this outfit I added a pair of heeled boots which I don't really wear often but I thought it just makes the outfit look a little bit more sassy!

  1. Your mustard coloured Ditsy Floral Print Dress from George at Asda is beautiful! I love the colour, the floral print, the tiered/frilled/gathered appearance at the neckline, sleeves, wrists, waist and above the hem, and the tie detail at the cuffs and keyhole back, and the look of the fabric. You look beautiful showcasing the dress - I love your outfit photos!!!
