Do any of you bloggers ever have a dream backdrop or setting to take blog photos in? Well, this is mine. I've been so desperately excited for pumpkin season for such a long time, I've been brainstorming ideas for so long until the perfect opportunity came along!

With the weather getting more and more cold by the week, I've been slowly bringing out more of my Autumn/Winter wardrobe and trying to style items in different ways. Something I seem to stick to wearing for every season is skirts and dresses. I don't really wear trousers much. As it's getting a bit colder I wanted to move away from constantly wearing fishnet tights, lets be honest they do nothing for protecting you from the wind. Hunkemoller* kindly offered me an item from their website, just in time for me to swap my fishnet tights to more weather appropriate ones for the cold! Hunkemoller is a clothing brand originally based in the Netherlands, who specialise in luxe underwear, hosiery, nightwear, swimwear and sportswear.

The item I chose to style for my blog actually a pair of Stay Ups (or Hold Ups) from the hosiery section. They are 20 denier which is a lot thicker than what I usually wear which is exactly what I want! The choice of hosiery that Hunkemoller have online is quite big, and the All Over Dot Backseam Stay Ups* stood out for me. They are so easy to put on, Hunkemoller boast about their hosiery being made with high quality long lasting yarns and you can definitely tell that the quality is fantastic as I certainly didn't feel like they were going to pull or rip when I put them on. I love the cute polka dot pattern and the seam up the back which looks so nice with a pair of boots on!

Who says you can't mix spots and stripes?! I love the contrasting prints in this outfit. I have opted for a black and white theme for my clothing so the coat and woolly hat do all the talking. On the day of taking these photographs it was absolutely freezing, so out came the precious teddy coat and a (almost matching) cute pink woolly hat. My inner girly girl felt so cute and happy going out dressed like this!

Can you tell by these images I was absolutely in my element? As I mentioned in my last post I love Autumn and literally everything about it. It turns out theres a farm with a pumpkin patch called Eastfield Farm in Tickhill, Doncaster. Which is only five minutes away from my house! Eastfield farm are a 'pick your own' soft fruit farm who also grow other fruits such as strawberries, when they are in season. I would like to thank Eastfield Farm for letting us come down early to pick pumpkins and take these blog photographs! You can find them on Facebook too.

*All items marked with an asterisk were gifted to me in exchange for a blog post.

  1. Ah how good is this shoot! Loving the jacket from Hunkemoller, I'm still trying to find a winter coat. I find it so hard to find one that look and fits right.

  2. Your pumpkin patch looks so much quieter than the one I shot in but it's such a fun backdrop isn't it? I absolutely love the contrast of patterns.
