SPACE GIRL

I'm going to delve straight in here with chatting about my outfit. Because in todays post I instantly fell in love with this dress, and I knew I wanted it straight away! It's a bit 'out there' but as I've said before, I'm trying to mix up my style. And with this dress, I'm absolutely loving it but also very terrified of how bright the print is!

I didn't even intentionally look to buy a dress, my sister first bought herself it and it didn't suit her very much but I loved it, so I ordered it in my size with some money I had on PayPal from selling my old clothes (thank the heavens as I am broke) and OH MY WORD. Firstly, lets start with the print. The background is navy and it has a pretty bright print with blues, oranges and pinks. All over the dress is different variations of planets and stars and it is like nothing I've ever seen before.

The dress is a jersey fabric, and with it's crew neck and curved hem it sort of has nightwear vibes, but I feel like this definitely gives it the comfort factor that most people want in outfits. I definitely prefer looser fit dresses too, as it hides all the lumps and bumps that I sometimes I feel ashamed to have. If you prefer a bit of shape to your outfits, styling this with a belt would look fabulous too! I've recently seen this belt with star shaped studs on it from Topshop, and I definitely think this would look super cute and ties in with the space theme perfectly. I also couldn't resist styling it with my new Dr Martens boots, I apoligise in advance for how many outfit posts I will feature them in. I adore them.

Despite this being totally out there when it comes to my fashion tastes, I feel completely myself, and a little but daft too! But not in a bad way, but in the sense that a child probably should be wearing something with this print on... on pyjamas or something. But who cares?!
