TRYING TO GET MY BLOGGING MOJO BACK

Some regular readers may have noticed that lately, I have not really been posting much on my blog. There are numerous reasons for this and although I don't have to make excuses for myself, I feel I should keep you all updated with the reasons why.

Firstly, I sold my camera. Theres tonnes of reasons why I sold it, but I did. So now I have to have help from others when it comes to creating content for my blog! I've also been busy getting back into the swing of things when it comes to work, after having a month off, being busy is hard to keep up with. So I've been putting myself first and simply just relaxing on my days off, and after work.

The main reason is that with having a blog, comes being part of the blogging "community" which lately doesn't feel much like a community at all, and has sort of become a negative space for me. I mean, not all of it is bad! I still can feel welcome in blog chats, and have blogging babes which I adore. But its hard creating content thats just going to be torn to shreds and bitched about online. I don't see many people talk about the negative side of blogging, but it's about time we do. Having an opinion on something which others don't like, or even creating content that others don't like, means you are more than likely going to be subjected to indirect posts of bitchiness on peoples social medias. I guess I've just given myself a time out to have a more positive presence online. And to learn how to have thick skin and get on with it, of course.

However, I'm going to try get into the swing of things again, do whatever I please and bring out good content for you! Having the break means I've had so many great ideas crop up and I've been taking a mental note of it all! Now, lets crack on with this amazing outfit! I'm not one to big myself up but I am really enjoying this combination. I have been on the search for a mesh dress for such a long time, not having found the perfect one seeing as a lot of them come attached to a little slip dress underneath. I would rather have the freedom of putting whatever I want underneath it. Which of course, has to be a Nirvana tee! One of my favourite bands!

Gingham prints are everywhere I turn lately so I thought with the weather getting a bit warmer (well, it was when these pics were took anyway!) I could bring back my barely worn Archive by Alexa Chung mini skirt that I bought from the previous line she brought out. I always seem to finish outfits off with trusty Dr Martens boots but this time around I've matched my shoes to my lips with a lovely cherry red pair!

  2. I'm so excited for all the new content that's coming! It's true what you said about the negative side of blogging. I've seen some bloggers post content that can be really controversial. Anyway I adore this outfit especially the mesh top!

  3. Hey lady!
I'm really sorry to hear about that part of the blogging community- it's such a shame but there's always going to be haters aren't there! I also feel like a lot of people might use the internet as a platform to voice their views, whilst simultaneously hiding behind their keyboards- they're just cowards.

You look beaut in this outfit, I'm loving it! And can't wait to hear more from you :)
