Bright retro prints make a return to trends almost yearly, and I am very eager to delve into the massive amount of bright prints available in stores this season. I spotted this absolute eye-catching piece at Primark (why oh why do they not have a site!) and picked it up on a whim to try it on, thinking I wouldn't buy it, but I was curious. The dark green, white and pink small floral print isn't too 'in your face' but its lovely. This dress also has small slits on the chest, which can vaguely be seen on close-ups, and elasticated sleeves, giving it a touch of detail. This all combined gave it such a 60's retro feel!

I wanted to elaborate on this retro feel and plan the whole outfit around it, I don't really own any retro looking shoes apart from my trusty High Top Converse, and you really can't go wrong with them! I also wanted another pop of colour because retro style is all about colour isn't it? I used my mustard yellow satchel from Topshop (it isn't on sale anymore, but I have another mustard favourite HERE) and my new favourite lipstick Blakes Red from L'Oreal Colour Riche.

I honestly have already received so many compliments on this dress and I've only worn it a handful of times so far, a lot of people can't even believe its from Primark!

  1. Love this dress look really pretty on :) Pixie xx

  2. Can I just say, you look so amazing! That dress is beautiful and I love your hair.
